We leave the “Chaz” kayak launch and paddle down river to Baird Creek which leads to the Crack. Along the way you may see bottle nose dolphin feeding or a manatee in a small side creek. We moor the boats and stroll up the spring run (wear water shoes) to the Crack, a spring opening that is linear fracture in the lime rock and not a round hole. Bring a water, and a snack to enjoy, while we are at the `Crack.’. Take a dip in the salt spring. Â We then paddle back up river to the Seven Sisters springs. 3 hour tour depending upon conditions and paddler ability.
