A professional manatee instructor will accompany you and provide necessary equipment including water noodles for flotation, wetsuits, masks, and snorkels.

With the opportunity to board your boat right outside your room if staying at the Florida Cracker Riverside Resort.

Guests under 17 must be accompanied by a guardian for safety purposes and children as young as two are welcome to participate in this exciting venture!

This is an “In-Water Manatee Expedition” Realistic expectation are a must. These are wild animals, but we have a 95% success rate of manatee sightings everyday.

CANCELLATION POLICY

There are no refunds on bookings, only vouchers. You will have 72 hours to cancel your charter before departure to receive a voucher good for 1 year. (some exceptions may apply) If cancelled inside the 72 hours there are no refunds, and a $75 rebooking fee will be applied.

Times may vary +/- 30 min based on Optimal Viewing Experiences and Weather.
This Expedition will take place on the Homosassa River, realistic expectations are a must.

Cancellation Policy

Hassle Free - Cancellation Policy

Due to Covid-19, we have updated our cancellation policies. - Cancellation policies are as follows .

Direct and Online Bookings:

All deposits will remain in effect until redeemed, must cancel 72 hours prior to departure date to extend activation of deposits and vouchers. Balance due at original reserved boarding times. Booking with a deposit only allows you different options of payment ( collecting bonus reward points, travel reward, etc) during check in.

There are no refunds on bookings, only vouchers. You will have 72 hours to cancel your charter before boarding date to receive a voucher good for 1 year (some extended exceptions may apply). If cancelled inside the 72 hours, you will be issued a 1 year voucher and a $75 rebooking fee will be applied on your next reservation, not pp.

No Shows will not receive a voucher.

If WE cancel the charter based on, inclimate weather, mechanical issues, or unsafe conditions, your deposit and voucher will remain active until redeemed ( with no expiration date) . The benefit of this policy will lock you and your group into the current value of your reservation without increase of prices.

Definition of “Expedition” a journey or voyage undertaken by a group of people with a particular purpose, especially that of exploration, scientific research.

Bring your families and join your personal guide and expedition leader. Select the time and dates , then complete your reservation for a once in a lifetime adventure. “A Real Manatee Expedition”

3.0 hours up to 6 passengers

Boarding times 7AM, 10 AM and 1PM daily. We have multiple boats so if your group is larger than 6 passengers just book accordingly. If your date and time is not available call 352-860-3222 to check availability.

Parent or Guardians must accommodate kids that are under 18 years old on the experience.

Acknowledgement of 2 Person or Less *

For a 2 passenger or less booking, there maybe a $25 start up fee (for a 2 passenger or less booking) collected at check in. If others have booked for this time slot then the fee will not apply. If you are the only 2 passengers or less on the boat then the fee will apply.
The captain will try to add a few more passengers to help with this fee. If the captain is able to add even, 1 more passenger then this $25 start up fee will not apply and will not be collected.
This startup fee covers the cost for the conversion of a shared experience to a possible private experience if others do not join. Not a bad deal! This will not apply to bookings of 3 or more people. Thank you .
