About Guided Scalloping Crystal River Florida

Are you ready for an adventure? We offer the unique experience of scalloping in gorgeous Crystal River, Florida! Spend your day paddling through the warm water, snorkeling and searching for scallops - all while soaking up the beautiful sun. Our Guided Scalloping Crystal River tour will lead you on an unforgettable journey!

Our trips depart at 6am and 12pm and last approximately 5 1/2 hours. Please arrive 30 minutes early to get checked in. As you explore, you're likely to see dolphins, sea turtles, sting rays, starfish, and other incredible wildlife- a true nature lover's paradise! We provide fins, masks, snorkel gear, nets bags for holding your scallops (which are included with your trip!) and plenty of bottled water.

  • Scalloping season typically starts around the beginning of July through to September. We boat out to about a couple miles offshore in the gulf of mexico, and can be found in the eelgrass.
  • There are limitations on the amount of scallops you can get which is 2 gallons of whole scallops per person per day and no more than 10 gallons of scallops on a boat per day.
